I've read so many times that "Kurt Cobain is a loser," "Kurt Cobain gave up on life and took the easy way out" etc... I can kinda so that point of view but that just shows your ignorance to dismiss it that easily. Depression is VERY ahh.. powerful, for lack of a better word. Sure, everyone goes through depression many times in their life. I believe Kurt's depression was a bit different from that, though. Depression can be caused by your brain lacking certain chemicals. I know a few people with this sort of depression and they're taking prescription drugs to help them with it. Kurt, on the other hand, took his own type of "medicine" which only made things 1000 times worse. Everything I've read about Kurt Cobain fits this type of depression. Giant mood swings for example... I remember reading in "COME AS YOU ARE" that sometimes Kurt would be really happy and talking a lot, then all of the sudden really quiet and just wanted to be alone. Also, Kurt liked to sleep a lot. Even when he wasn't on heroin he liked to sleep a lot just to get away from the world. Right before "the end" there was a lot of turmoil.. Nirvana canceled as headliner of Lollapalooza, then Nirvana broke up. Also, Kurt and Courtney were rumored to be getting a divorce. The problems....depression....and drugs all caught up to him all at once. I'm not saying suicide was his last option, but some people can only take so much.. Peoples limits are different. Unfortunately Kurt reached his limit... It's just a shame it had to happen to such a talented artist."
