i am only 12yr and i can figure out what happened to kurt. at the age of 5 he was put on ritalin which left him with an un-named stomach ailement, a burning sensation. this left him with a pain that would haunt his short life. along with a medium back curvature hence:pennyroyal tea's 'i have very bad posture'.he found the solution to this problem was an even worse solution. drugs. don't get me wrong on the drugs issue, it is just that i have a addictive personality.and later in his career as the drug problem got worse and worse [and i doubt that the increased media helped]i have to beleive that he married courtney love and had francis to give him a supportive crutch.and if courtney love really wanted to kill him why is it that she along withhis friends put him in re-hab were he then [after 2days] went home and shot himself. if she hated him she would've gotten a divorce. because he was more valuable to her alive than dead. DRUGS ROBBED KURT OF HIS CREATIVITY AND GAVE HIM PAIN THAT EVENTUALLY LET TO HIS DEATH. WHY CAN'T ANYONE REALISE THAT?. Stuart, it was NOT the ritalin that gave Kurt stomach problems. Kurt had went to many doctors for the stomach pains and they all thought it was some sort of acid reflux. Only one doctor managed to find out that a small piece of Kurts stomach was being pinced my his spine. He was sent to a chropractor and it was fixed. It was not the ritalin.

I agree with you Hippygirl78. Another thing too, Kurt himself said that he never wrote in any kind of style, and that his songs weren't about him or his life. He wrote about other people and things.
It seems odd that a person would go around telling people that he wasn't suicidal if he was. There have been quite a few of Kurts friends that said he was doing really well at the time of his death. He was not having any more pain in his stomach. And he was making plans for future music. Suicidal people do NOT make plans. I listened to nirvana ever since I was little. I was 7 when Kurt died and it crushed me like a family member died. I realized that I would never meet kurt or see him play live and it really hurt me. I think that there will never ever be any singer like Kurt Cobain.His talent will be irreplacable. I read the book "Heavier Then Heaven",and after reading it I can see why Kurt Killed himself. He was never happy and his unhappiness began when he was young while his parents got divorced. It's amazing that he even wrote such goods songs while sufferring his addiction to heroin and suffering severe deppresion. I just hav 2 say i red a book that was written about kurt cobain called "heavier than heaven" its full off shit!!the only person the author interviewd was Courtney.KURT WAS NOT SUICIDAL. Courtney made evry1 believe that the incident in Rome was an attempt 2 kill himself its not true he was not suicidal.the docters at the hospital didnt find any pills when they pumped his stomach. He also loved his daughter francis more than anything in the world he would hav done anything 4 her.
