I see a lot of people talking about Kurt being murdered here. I think Kurt deserves to have a REAL investigation into his death. If he did not mean to leave us, then people need to be held accountable. Tom Grant's site is now located at cobaincase.com, and there is another new one called justiceforkurt.com that has just about everything you need to know about WHY people think Kurt was really murdered, and back it up with taped conversations of courtney, interviews with people, and tv shows that have done stories on it. Nirvana was an awakening. When my generation was trying to come to grips with who we were, Nirvana answered the questions and gave everyone hope that one day they too could step to the forefront and be the next surface breaker. I cannot tell how close I came to pissing myself the first time I saw "Smells Like Teen Spirit". It was exactally what we needed to break away from the hair and glamor that the 80's had given us. Those 3 guys changed everything in my life forever. It was now ok to be yourself. Yes it very well may take 30 seconds for heroin to take full effect. BUT, the amount in which was in Kurts Blood was more than enough to give him a feeling before the 30 seconds was up. And since you don't seem to remember the details.. it says in the police report that Kurt had his license laid out and his drug kit put away NEATLY. In the pictures that have been seen by professionals...boths sleaves on Kurts shirt were rolled down and buttoned. Ok .. If you beleive that Charles R Cross is telling you some sort of Kurt and Courtney gospel.. then you need a wake up call. His book about Kurt is not all that it seems to be. Mainly because it isn't factual. Cross writes about things at the scene of Kurts death, that weren't really there. Kurt was not supposed to have any guns. I dont think Nirvana are the best band in the world. It's not a well known fact that children on ritalin will go on to harder substances after they get taken off. My Husband was on ritalin as a child. He does not take drugs. He never shot herion. As time went by he wasn't so hyper anymore. So that "well known fact", is bullshit. Kurt did herion for his own reasons. It may have been to take away the pain from his stomach, or his back. Kurt did not try to kill himself in Rome. The doctor did not pump ANY pills from his stomach. The doctor himself did not believe Kurt to be suicidal. I don't know why people keep trying to say that. Rohypnol is a tranqulizer. It hasn't really got a taste to it. Courtney put it in Kurts drink and he drank it not knowing it was in there. Don't you see, that If kurt had taken that together he would have definatly died quickly after injecting it.(if he was trying to kill himself) Leaving no time to shoot himself. Now if he took the Diazepam alone to calm his nerves, he wouldn't have died. And if he decided to shoot up, he must have thought the D had worn off. That or else, someone saw him and thought he was sleeping and decided to make him OD. Not knowing that he had taken the Diazepam. It really makes no difference to me weather you 'care' or not anymore. Just don't go around saying that you think he's great when you don't care what happened to him. That is not caring, it's being like a child and liking someone because they have cool toys and then not liking that kid anymore when they move away.

its a shame that a part of our musical lives was ended shortly but keeping things like this forum going is really keeping Kurt alive. All the hard work that went into the band the stress and drugs that lead to it and his unfortunate death(murder ) are really remembered and kept alive here and in our hearts. Dave grhl may have sold out but man is there anyone else in the industrythat has as much fun as him? I am glad to see him doing well. HAve a nice day all.
