HAve any of these ppl brought the new album "NIRVANA" as i feel that all this is ,is another stunt by the record companies, and Courtney it rip off the true fans of this incredable band. Thje question is how may ppl have actually seen beyond the new album sleave and refuse to buy wot is esentially a released album (barr the most excellent "You Know Your Right" so is there any point in this release, well i think not . but its wot has happened and in the event of a mircle it will happen again with some omore tracks. I think the supposed greatest hits is a rip off for all us fans who have been into Nirvana since the early 90's. I mean, we all have those songs and have heard them. I do think, however, that this greatest hits album would be a good thing for people who are 13-16 who are just getting into Nirvana or the grunge music. But it's not really worth much more than that. Im not buying it. Its good Nirvana music. I will always agree to that. It's just not worth buying it when I have all those songs already.

I just want to express how much i f'ing hate courtney, she is such a horrible person, and she deserves to die (hope she does!). i think kurt killed himself, i know so many people disagree, but i dont care... some people think im not a "true fan" because of that, but i dont give a shit. i love nirvana, i love kurt, hes one of the biggest influences in my life (aside from the suicide thing) nirvana is the single most awesome band in history. i wish he wasnt gone, but its what he wanted, so... the only fault i find with him, is that he left his daughter in the care of an insane person. but i guess he escaped his pain. do the people who think his death was murder know his history? so much of it is obsessed with suicide. so many of his family members died that way, and when he was young, he told a friend "I'm going to be a superstar musician, kill myself, and go out in a fame of glory... I want to be rich and famous and kill myself like Jimi Hendrix." and what did kurt do? he became a rich, famous superstar musician, and killed himself. Can you all please just stop this Courtney baiting that seems so frequent in Nirvana fans. Read Heavier than Heaven and Kurt's journals. There is nothing in either of these books to suggest that Courtney had any reason to have Kurt killed. They had a daughter, they were married, and above all, they actually LOVED each other. It is a shame that so many of you cannot complete the mourning process and move on with your lives. No doubt i'll be labelled as not being a 'true' Nirvana fan, but the thruth is that i can actually appreciate what Kurt did in his 26 years on earth, rather than obssess about the 8 after his death. And as for those who say that he didn't want his diaries printing 2 points for your attention : 1 - He hasn't got a say in it, his estate (including his diaries) belong to Courtney. 2 - Read the passage in his diaries that comes form. Kurt Cobain had talent, much of it, and it showed, he had a way about him, he was so real, and didn't fake much of anything. Nirvana's music is the same way, Real. I always hear something new each time I turn one of thier albums, and I can't really say that about any other bands. The lyrics, the scratchy guitar, booming bass, and intense drumming, and the other times when everything was soft and quiet, it is all beautiful. Let us stop bickering about who we think killed him. Yes, he was depressed and lost- I know the way he feels. But by listening to his music and really hearing it I feel as if I am experiencing parts of his life, having grown up feeling similar feelings. To voice my opinion.. He didnt kill himself- His cunt wife shot him and took his money and she should be thankful that nobody has killed her ass yet for murdering the world's greatest musician. Nirvana always will be an amazing group of musicians that jump started the alternative revolution. Kurt touched all of our hearts. I see him through the eyes of an astrologer. His sun in Pisces gives him a creative, emotional, and altruistic (not selfish) ego. And his moon in Cancer automatically gives him the ability to put out the lyrics that make us come back for more... and more... He undertood our urge to vent, cry, fight, or remain apathetic towards a hell of a world because he had it so rough himself emotionally with his childhood and the trials of adolescence. I think people are too cought up with how Kurt Cobain died and not enough on what he did, and all those lives he had touched with his music. even in death he still inspires countless people, especially teenagers such as i. reading heavier then heaven makes me feel like my dream of being a rockstar is not such an imposibility. also it helps me reflect back on my life. Kurt growing up was faced with problems that i cant even begin to imagine such as poverty, homlessness, depression, and a family that tore evey thing he had apart. here i am, complaining how i dont have a 1000$ bass, thinking my 300$ bass aint good enough. Kurt had to sell his dad's guns to get his 1st guitar!

Stupidly, I didn't read the blurb on the back so I didn't realise until I got home that this idiot writer 'Christoper' doesn't know what the frig he's talking about.
