Kurt Cobain is one of the most brilliant musicians ever. There's performers and then there are artists. Performers are all fake; everything they do on stage is just an act (i.e today's pop music icons). But then there are ARTISTS, who truly pour their heart and soul into what they do. Kurt was an ARTIST. He's inspired me so much.
But the one thing I'm sick of is hearing how selfish Kurt was to end his life. Yes, the people who love him suffered and are still suffering. But the one thing people seem to be completely oblivious to is the fact that Kurt was DEPRESSED. I say they're oblivious to it because they claim to take the depression factor into consideration, but they always end up saying that it doesn't justify Kurt's suicide. That's bullshit. No one has any idea how intensely Kurt felt the pain he was suffering through. Nobody. And for that matter, no one has the right to fucking judge him. It was Kurt's decision and no one else's. There's only so much pain and hurt one person can endure and, unfortunately for those who love him, Kurt felt he could endure no more. So, to all of you out there that say Kurt is selfish for ending his life, remember this: Walk a mile in someone else's shoes before you judge them. (Oh, and by the way, I don't believe Kurt would appreciate those of you that talk shit about Courtney. That was his wife and he obviously loved her. So, if you really love Kurt, then have some respect for him and keep your fucking opinions to yourself.)

The reason for my defence of Courtney is not that she is so beautiful or talented (even though she is quite the songwriter), but that she is a normal human being and deserves respect and privacy just like everyone else. None of us will really know what happened,...for me, I have to be proven wrong-with evidence, to beleive Kurt killed himself, because I'm sorry but I will not believe he killed himself. Sorry Nick but you are wrong. It takes under 30 seconds for heroin to take FULL effect and to reach the brain from a injection. It takes about 10 seconds to start taking effect. And with the amount of heroin and valium that was in his body at the time of death, he would have been dead from the injection before he was shot. Take a look at how he was found. He was wearing a long sleaved white shirt. He would have had to roll up the sleaves to shoot up. And when he was found, his sleaves were DOWN and buttoned. Both of his shoes were ON so there isn't a way he could have used his toe shoot the gun. This should be clear to anyone. Theres no way he could have picked up that gun. By the time he would have gotten the needle out, put it away(as stated in police reports)rolled his sleaves down and buttoned them, or put his shirt back on, the heroin would have already started taking effect. He wouldn't have been able to lift his head let alone the gun.

5)a few parts of the "suiside note" especially the last 4 lines stands out as being written by a diferent hand. and it's only those 4 lines that indicates a suiside. if you look at the handwriting of courtney and the 4 lines on the bottom of the "suiside note" the P and the F are identical and some of the E looks familiar. The rest of the note
looks more like a retirement note to his fans.
6)he was NOT suicidal! he had a beautyfull little baby girl and more inportant, he found a doctor who finally diagnosed the problem - a pinched nerve relating to his scoliosis. Once the problem was diagnosed, it became treatable and Kurt finally rid himself of his daily agony.
7)Eldron Hoke/El Duce. courtney met El duce in the late 80's. in an article in High times he clamed that in the last day's of december 1993. courtney pulld up outside a Hollywood record shop, and said:
C Love: "El, I need a favour of you. My old man's been a real asshole lately, I need you to blow his fucking head off."
El Duce: "Are you serious"?
C Love: "Yeah, I'll give you $50,000 to blow his fucking head off."

I look at all the shit people write about Kurt and it disgusts me. It's like a fucking chisle pounded into my chest with a mallet. God, Kurt, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Kurt had 3 times the lethal dose of heroin (225 mgs) in his blood system. Medical experts say such an amount will leave you incapacitated and cause you to lapse into a coma within seconds, if not kill you instantly. Kurt could not have done this, neatly put away all his belongings, roll down his sleeves and been able to pick up a shotgun to shoot himself.
According to the police reports, there were NO fingerprints on the shotgun, on the pen found with the "suicide" note, or the box of shotgun shells found beside Kurt. This indicates the crime scene was "swept" clean before the body was discovered.
There is evidence that circumstances were manipulated to prevent Kurt from using his own car and gaining access to his own money in the days leading up to his death. Someone also attempted to use his credit card up until the morning of April 8th. Medical examiners determined Cobain had died on April 5th.
Courtney Love was facing a divorce. There is documented proof, including her own voice on recordings, that indicates Kurt wanted out of the marriage, out of the music industry, and possibly full custody of their daughter Frances. Dave Grohl confirmed that Nirvana were about to break up at the time. Courtney's father claims Kurt was going to divorce her on adultery charges. Cobain also took steps to write her out of his will.
Eldon Hoke, singer of a band called the Mentors, claimed he was offered $50,000 by Courtney to kill Kurt in December 1993. On March 6, 1996, Hoke was administered a polygraph test by Dr. Edward Gelb, who is one of the country's leading polygraph experts and teaches the advanced polygraph course for the FBI. Hoke passed a lie detector test with 99.7% certainty that he was telling the truth.
Kurt said he wasn't suicidal to many people in the weeks prior to his death, including the Seattle police, a doctor that treated him in Rome, the people at the Exodus rehab center in LA, his lawyer, and many friends, including his best friend Dylan Carlson who bought him the shotgun on March 30th. Kurt told Dylan he was afraid of intruders at the house.
Cobain's friends say the only person who started telling the media he was suicidal, after he died, was Courtney Love. This goes against everything Kurt himself told people in the weeks leading up to his death. The media decides to go with Courtney's story with no questions asked.
These are just a FEW of the reasons many around the world are wondering just what really happened that first week of April 1994. This information has since been the subject of books, films, television, radio shows, and many articles in recent years. I was shocked at your question about why people still cry for Kurt. Kurt was a very great inspiration to millions of people, and his death was a tremendous loss. He affected people's lives very very deeply. I AM ONE OF THESE PEOPLE.
People have turned to his music and found inspiration, and found something beautiful, that they can identify with, something that has turned their lives around, made them happier people, and sometimes helped prevent them from making destructive choices. Music can have this affect on a person, and when someone that was in the band that created this music, someone that you look up to and greatly admire, and have come to love dies in the blink of an eye, without warning, that can be a kind of traumatic experience for a person.
I don't cry every day for him, but every now and then, I do. It can take people years and years to get over the death of someone they love, even if they are a famous person that they do not even know personally. To cry over someone's death, even after a long period of time, is a natural human thing to do. When someone cries just when they hear some of his music or look at his photos, it's because they feel his pain and the overwhelming emotion incorporated into the music, and they remember that he is not here because there is a photograph in front of them of a person who is gone.

To those people who think he killed himself, read some of the facts from the police and Courtney Loves Privite Investagator, Courtney's PI has evidence that hasent been released to the courts or public. Few points to add. Firstly, as someone's already said, if you learn to type properly your opinion will be received better as you don't seem like such a moron.
Secondly, those of you who have watched 'Kurt & Courtney' - so what? Even the guy who MADE it admitted his sources were unreliable.

'Kurdt' 2nd: just because someone disagrees with you doesn't give you any reason to hate them. Perhaps some people believe to be a God you have to do more than write great songs.
1st 'kurdt': How can you say it's ok if Kurt wanted to end his own life and say he's a good dad in the same message? A good dad would care too much about his kid to kill himself. And Courtney's dad fed her acid when she was 4, he's hardly a reliable source.
